Description
Higher Lower, also known as High Low, is a great gambling game that is also loved as a math game. A card is shown and you have to tell if the next card is either higher or lower.
You're starting with one suit in level 1 and more suits and poker card decks are added once you reach higher game levels.
Make the longest row of telling if the next card is higher or lower than the cards before. Compete against friends with leaderboards to see who is the best Higher Lower player and claim the great High-Low achievements.
Higher Lower was my first installment during my internship there at the company OrangeGames. I turned the concept into a successful reality within a limited time frame of just a month.
Everything but the card decks had been created by me from the ground up. From a completely QA tested bug-free game, deeply integrated analytics, smoothly in unity animated visuals to an easy to use, playerfriendly experience.
My main learning point for this project was the third party plugin integration. I had never before added any third party plugins to any of my games, so it was a whole new experience working with Google Play Game Services, Game Circle, Game Center, Google- and Game Analytics.
It used to come with so many complications when developing for android, since the java files of multiple plugins would interfere with eachother because of duplications and other dependencies.
It was my first product for an actual company and it has taught me about so many more corners of the game industry that I look at this product with a raised chin.
