Chip Dozer is a 3D physics-based arcade Coin Dozer / Coin Pusher casino game set in the Governor of Poker Wild West theme made possible with the Unity3D engine.
This exciting chip dozer app is filled with various prizes, special chips, and special abilities like gameplay effecting weather effects such as tornadoes and rain.
During my time working on this game, my primaire focus was on the systems behind the screen.
A dynamic drop system had to be built for a random but percentage based chance calculation to make sure that the players would at all time have something interesting going on in the main playing field.
This goes as far as making sure that players would be positively impacted rather than have them rely on a randomized system that could upset them.
For example, when lots of chips are lost due to a wrong play, the chance to have a lucky item spawn into the playing field would increase. This item would be chosen out of the collections and achievements that the player had not yet achieved.
This was all done by custom made unity editor scripts that would allow us to easily create and modify the item's properties for eg. new prizes, special chips, their drop rates, models, collision types, physic variables, etc...
